Same problem

Yes, I know that Ubuntu is not supported, but given the nature of this bug it should certainly be fixed right away, as it surely shows a weak point in the Eclipse/Notes environment.

The bug is probably caused by Eclipse, not able to find the right path to Mozilla. You can toggle this error on/off by setting the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME evironment variable.

(Example: export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/opt/mozilla)

If the variable is set, your client won't crash, but it will not show you HTML mail either. (At least not the ones with a MIME encoded image within)

Adding support for Ubuntu would be a nice gesture to the Linux community. Ubuntu is the most popular distro, due to it's cool and simple user interface.

I myself converted from SuSE Linux a few weeks ago, and I'm not planning to go back.
